Peer-to-peer therapy at TAMUCC open to all veterans

Veterans face many challenges when they transition from service back to civilian life, but a free program at Texas A&M Corpus Christi provides a space for vets to connect with other veterans through peer-to-peer therapy.

The program is called “Bring Everyone In The Zone.” Group therapy sessions are run by a licensed counselor, and open to all Coastal Bend veterans.

“There’s something to be said about a bond that you make when you go to war,” said Christina Brooks, President of the Student Veterans Organization.hire vets

“Veteran friends are actually more my family than my family. They literally are my brothers and sisters,” added Priscilla Cruz, a student veteran and peer coordinator.
