HOPE FOR THE WARRIORS® PRESENTS 8th ANNUAL LONG ISLAND RUN FOR THE WARRIORS® 10K, 5K AND ONE MILE WALK/RUN

WHAT: 10K, 5K and One Mile Walk/Run

Run For The Warriors® races are unique events dedicated to the men and women wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan, their families and families of the fallen. It is a celebration of their strength and resolve and a promise to continue restoring self, family and hope. The 8th Annual Long Island Run For The Warriors® is presented by Island Federal Credit Union, the Town of Babylon and Local 338 RWDSU/UFCW.

WHY: Event proceeds will help Hope For The Warriors® continue to provide comprehensive support programs focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement and connections to community resources to service members, veterans and their families in New York and around the country.

WHO: The entire community is invited to participate in the event, which unites wounded military members, their families and civilians in the shared belief that there is hope beyond recovery.

COST: Day of Registration: $40

Veterans and active service members: $25

Gold Star families and wounded warriors: Free

Students: $5 discount with ID

Children 10 and under: Free
