The Joint Ambulatory Care Center in west Pensacola will again host the annual Homeless Veterans Stand Down event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday,  bringing essential community resources to one venue.

“With the help of our partners in the Pensacola community, we have been very successful in linking many homeless veterans with the services and programs they need to hopefully end their homelessness one day through these annual stand down events,” said Jerron Barnett, Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System public affairs officer. “This year shouldn’t be any different in that regard, so we look forward to helping as many homeless veterans as we can.”
