Rochester’s Citywide ‘First Friday,’ the monthly gallery night, spotlights veterans on Friday. TheVeterans Outreach Center is featuring artwork in a new show that was created by local veterans.
The public is invited to Friday’s reception. First Friday events take people all over the city to discover new places and meet new artists. Friday, it’s a look at the men and women of the Veterans Outreach Center.
The VOC’s House Gallery is proudly displaying artwork from its veteran clients. It’s part of a wellness program. Veterans are invited to participate for a chance to express themselves.
An Excellus BCBS grant means this artwork and specifically a collaborative piece, called 
Veterans: Vitals Pieces of the Puzzle, will be in the National Veterans Creative Arts Fesitval in July.
