Rocky Gap Casino Resort Signs Statement of Support for Men and Women of the National Guard and Reserve

Flintstone, Md. – Rocky Gap Casino Resort, located at 16701 Lakeview Road NE, signed a Statement of Support (SOS) on Monday, Jan. 31, reaffirming the resorts’ support for men and women of the National Guard and Reserve.

Ahmad Ahmad, assistant general manager of Rocky Gap Casino Resort, signed the SOS, which helps the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to gain and maintain employer support for the men and women who serve. The ESGR is a program under the Department of Defense that works to ensure the employment and re-employment rights of National Guard and Reserve members.

In addition to signing the SOS, the Patriot Award was presented to Nathaniel Wolf, hotel operations manager at Rocky Gap Casino Resort. The award recognizes supervisors who provide both personal and professional support to the nominator. Wolf was nominated by Specialist (SPC) Joshua James, 29th Military Police of the Maryland National Guard and Rocky Gap employee.
