MANASSAS, VA ā€“ JANSON, a leading firm that provides branding, analytics and strategic communications services to the Department of Defense (DoD), today announced that it has been selected by the Military Heritage Museum (MHM) to brand its upgraded museum experience at its new facility in southwest Florida.

JANSON, which has significant expertise and experience branding and revitalizing DoD facilities, is tasked with updating the museumā€™s branded image and creating a compelling, strategically aligned and well-managed design for the new facilityā€™s interior and exterior and tactically implementing a compelling new approach to telling the story of the American militaryā€™s contributions.

ā€œWe are thrilled to have JANSON on our museum development team,ā€ stated Lt. Col. (Retired) Kathleen K. Roth, Senior Advisor for the Military Heritage Museum. ā€œOur goal is to create in the new location an engaging and technologically interactive place where our visitors will connect, discover and engage with our corps of veteran docents and museum artifacts. With JANSONā€™s assistance, the Military Heritage Museum is set to become a destination experience for visitors from all around the world by providing the same level of quality, education and engagement that is found in Smithsonian Institution partner museums.ā€

ā€œI am more than honored that JANSON will be working with the Military Heritage Museum to help develop a world-class, engaging, 21st century experience that will pay homage to Americaā€™s veterans, educate the next generation of Americans and draw visitors from around the world,ā€ says Janet Chihocky, CEO of JANSON. ā€œThe museum needed a partner that could provide the strategy and structure needed to elevate the awareness and impact of its important stories from the nationā€™s founding, up to current operations in theaters across the globe, and I am humbled for JANSON to be in a position to help them do just that.ā€

The Military Heritage Museum (MHM), founded in 2001 and located in Punta Gorda, Florida, tells the larger story of Americaā€™s numerous warfighting, humanitarian and nation-building engagements through the smaller and highly personal stories of individuals and artifacts. The museum is unique in that it covers the histories, missions and impacts of each of Americaā€™s five service branches.

All docents are military veterans who have honorably served their country and now continue their service by telling their personal stories related to the more than 20,000 artifacts, documents and other museum holdings.
