Donnie Davis is motivated by the number 22.
That’s the number of U.S. military veterans who commit suicide on average each day.
It’s the reason the Franklinville native and Air Force veteran decided that he needed to help his fellow vets as they make their transition back to civilian life.
Davis, founder of Amazing Grace Ministries in Williamstown, is purchasing a 277-acre property on Delsea Drive in 
Franklinville with the hope of building microhousing units — or tiny houses — for combat veterans returning from service.
The property includes a campground with a lake — the former Village Dock campground — where Davis hopes to build the houses.
