University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB (formerly Foundation for the California State University, San Bernardino) was established in 1962. UEC is responsible for many activities that require financial support not provided by the state. These activities occur in all three areas of University life including: instruction, research and community service. It is incumbent upon UEC to operate an organization that is business-like in nature, at the highest level of professional competence, while also being entrepreneurial, to take advantage of many resources the University has to offer. As a recognized auxiliary of the California State University (CSU) system and member of the Auxiliary Organizations Association (AOA), UEC exists to provide the highest level of service and financial support while maintaining corporate fiscal integrity.

Job description for Project Specialists include:

Being responsible for providing participantsā€™ assistance and support in preparing for college entrance examinations such as the SAT and ACT;
Being responsible for providing participantsā€™ information and guidance on college entrance examinations registration and testing processes;
Being responsible for providing participantsā€™ information and guidance on the college admissions and financial aid processes, including fee waivers and applications;
Work with the Upward Bound staff to conduct a review pf program components;
Assist with collecting and entry of data for the Annual Performance Report, including collection, accuracy and verification of data;
Plan, coordinate and assist with the implementation of Academic Academies, Saturday Universities and other program components/activities;
Encourage the intellectual development of all Upward Bound participants.

Job description for Directors include:


Under the general supervision of the Associate Vice President and Dean of Undergraduate Studies, the SAIL Director plans, develops, implements, administers, evaluates, and documents the federally-funded Student Support Services (SSS) grant program. As the programā€™s primary administrator, the SAIL Director is responsible for budget administration, overall staff supervision and compliance with all grant rules and regulations mandated by the United States Department of Education.

JobĀ  description for Administrative Analysts include:

Two temporary, benefited ā€œnon exemptā€ positions through June 30, 2016; position may be renewed annually, based upon available funding, availability of work, and satisfactory job performance. The parolee centers are located in the Cities of San Bernardino, Victorville and Riverside, but the Incumbent will be primarily stationed in San Bernardino.
