Organization collects donated electronics for wounded veterans

One Massachusetts organization is using technology to help wounded veterans get back on their feet.

For many wounded veterans, the road to recovery can take months or even years. That’s why the organization “iPods for Wounded Veterans” provides veterans with free iPods and tablets to get their minds off the day-to-day visits to the doctor.

The group relies on gifts and donations of old, broken-down cars, which they sell for cash to buy more electronics. Eighty-percent of all funds go back to helping wounded veterans, while the remaining twenty-percent is spent on travel to reach veterans across the country.hire vets

Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito told 22News this is just another way to show gratitude to those who fought for our freedom.
