Peter Nardolillo of Colonie benefited so much from participating in SongwritingWith:Soldiers, a retreat program that pairs veterans and active duty service members with professional songwriters to create songs about their combat experiences, he’s going to help fellow veterans during a retreat.
Nardolillo, a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, will be among the helpers at the next retreat Friday at Carey Institute for Global Good in Rensselaerville.
Songwriting With:Soldiers Executive Director Mary Judd of Albany and singer-songwriters Mary Gauthier, Jay 
Clementi and James House will use collaborative songwriting with the veterans as a catalyst to build creativity, connections and strengths.
