Help available for veterans in crisis: Salem County Veterans Corner

If you are a veteran in crisis, or are the family member or friend of a veteran, the Veterans Administration offers help that can make a difference.

The Veterans’ Crisis Line is staffed by caring, qualified VA responders, some of them who are veterans or family members of veterans themselves, and they understand just what veterans have been through. The Veterans Crisis Line, online chat line, and texting service are available to all veterans and their families and friends, even if they are not registered with the VA or enrolled in the VA health care system.

Every day, veterans and their loved ones across America reach out to this crisis line. People hire vetsexperience emotional and mental health crisis in response to a wide range of situations, from difficulties in their personal relationships to a loss of a job.
