The company is a Veteran Owned Small Business, a residential and light commercial general contractor as well as a remodeler looking for a carpenter and lead carpenter in the Portland Metro Area.

SL Green Construction is looking for a skilled craftsmen who has a desire to be in a carpenter and lead carpenter position on small to medium size residential projects. The workers at SL Green Construction pride themselves on providing great service to their clients, quality work and being responsive with project issues.

Required Skills:

Experience with Residential Remodeling and New Additions
Experience with Kitchens and Bathrooms
Wood Framing
Concrete Foundations
Structural and architectural repairs
Window & door installation
Installation of siding
Installation of cabinetry
Finish Carpentry
Painting, caulking, general finishing
Ability to handle occasional service calls & repair work
Drywall patching and small tile work a plus
Maintain a clean work environment
Follow Industry and OSHA safety standards

You will need to have basic carpentry and finish tools. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record will be required.

This position requires pride in your work, dependability, superior work ethic, teamwork and clear communication with company members and customers. Responsibilities include leading the onsite team, including other company employees and subcontractors, working independently, scheduling, quality control and customer service.

Compensation/benefits for this position will be based on experience.
