The Auburn Veterans Day Parade and Observance is an annual tradition that takes over Downtown Auburn. Designated by the Veterans Day National Committee and the US Department of Veterans Affairs as a regional site for celebration of Veterans Day, the parade is in its 49th year and is paying special tribute to the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Find your spot along Main Street for the start of the parade at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Antiques and collectibles show at Washington State Fair Events Center in Puyallup

Billed as the largest antique show in the Puget Sound, America’s Largest Antiques and Collectibles Show comes to the Washington State Fair Events Center, 110 Ninth Ave. SW, Puyallup. It includes estate jewelry, prints, period lighting, furniture, silver, Native American objects, costume jewelry, kitchenware, paper Americana, and toys from 1800-1970. Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 adults, $3 for ages 12-17, and free for kids younger than 12.

Emerald Queen Casino bring Cheech and Chong to the stage

Making a name for themselves for their films and standup routines based in hippie and free love era, Grammy Award-winning Cheech and Chong continue to entertain. See them live in an 8 p.m. show Saturday at the Emerald Queen Casino, 2024 E. 29th St., Tacoma. Tickets are $45-$100 and available through Ticketmaster.com.


Discover underwater life at Pier Peer around Tacoma

Jointly sponsored by Foss Waterway Seaport and Metro Parks Tacoma, Pier Peer around Tacoma, is a great way to see the sea life in your area. Experience a night time adventure under the guidance of naturalists followed by refreshments of hot cocoa. It is 7:30-9 p.m. Saturday at the Point Defiance Boathouse Marina, 5912 N. Waterfront Drive., Tacoma. The event if for ages 8 and older and each child must have an adult companion. It is $8 and registration is required. Call 253-591-6439.
