* Community partnerships, not bigger Veterans Affairs budgets, that’s the answer to delivering mental health services to former service men and women.

So agreed House Democrats and Republicans.

The VA’s mental health budget has grown 39 percent and its staff by 41 percent in recent years.

Yet suicides among veterans have jumped from 18 to 22 a day, according to a new VA study.

* Cyber warriors beating back international hackers. Drone pilots are destroying unsuspecting terrorists.

Now there’s a medal for that.

The Distinguished Warfare Medal will recognize extraordinary achievements that didn’t take place on the traditional battlefield.

The medal will rank below the Distinguished Flying Cross and above the Bronze Star in order of merit.

Many are outraged that the medal ranks above the Bronze Star, which is a war zone medal.

* A new House bill could help military sexual assault victims qualify for VA benefits.
