Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took to the media to admit that his team has been following the progress of Erling Haaland and didn’t rule out making a move for the Borussia Dortmund superstar.

Due to his impressive feats, European giants like Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Liverpool have all rewarded him with a link in a bid to sign him, and it seems like Manchester United are also keen on the Norway international.
United head coach Solskjaer seems to know everything about the Norwegian striker’s talents, having previously managed him during his time with Molde.
When asked if his past relationship with the Norwegian striker could help Manchester United land him to Old Trafford, Solskjaer said to Norwegian outlet VG: “Erling will have a fantastic career. I’m following Erling. I’ve always said that.
“Was it 18 months we had together or something? Almost two years, maybe. A wonderful time. He will have a great career for both Norway and his club.
“He is doing incredibly well for Dortmund, so we’ll see where he ends up. As a Norwegian and someone who has worked with him, it is of course fun that he does so well.
“We will do what we can to become a better team, then he will do what he can to become a better player. Where does he end up? I do not want to say anything other than that, that I wish him all the best. Which choice he makes may be up to him.”
Borussia Dortmund is currently having a tough season in the Bundesliga having parted ways with former head coach Lucien Favre after succumbing to a 5-1 defeat at the hands of newly-promoted Stuttgart back in December.
Edin Terzic, who was Favre’s assistant head coach, was appointed as the interim manager till the end of the season but he has also been struggling to help the team return to the Champions League spot, as they currently sit at the sixth position on the Bundesliga table and Australia online casino is backing the team to bounce back before the end of the campaign.
Should the club fail to earn a spot in the Champions League, Dortmund might be forced to part ways with some of their key figures, which includes Haaland.
The 20-year-old striker contract with the Bundesliga sie currently runs through 2024, and it was reported that a £67 million release clause was included in that contract which will become active in the summer of 2022.
This could lead to a tug of war between European clubs for the signature of the Norway international, and Manchester United might also join in.
