For employees, Lukos provides a 401(k) retirement plan through BB&T. Employees may elect to make tax-deferred and/or Roth contributions from their salary up to the IRS annual limit. Lukos matches contributions up to 3% of salary, and half of contributions from 3% to 5% of salary, for a maximum match of 4% of salary on 5% employee contributions. All contributions are 100% vested immediately.

Lukos provides medical, dental, and vision coverage through United Health Care (UHC), the number one provider network in their region. Employees who are already covered by another medical plan may receive a $1300 annual salary credit in lieu of medical coverage. Lukos offers 3 plan choices for medical insurance. Each plan offers different deductibles, co-pays, and coverage limits, and each plan has a different premium cost. Lukos pays 50% of premium cost, with the employee paying the remaining premium cost.
