New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has received the endorsement of one of the stateâs most well-known veterans leaders.
Retired U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Paul Chevalier of Hudson, a former state commander of the New Hampshire Veterans of Foreign Wars, is calling Christie âthe commander-in-chief America needs in the war against terrorism.â
Christie called Chevalier âone of our nationâs great heroes.â
Chevalier has long been one of the most sought-after endorsements in the state. Often seen at political events for many Republican candidates on the national and state levels, Chevalier chaired U.S. Sen. John McCainâs veteransâ coalitions in McCainâs successful 2000 and 2008 New Hampshire primary campaigns.
