From Tuesday, Sept. 22 through Friday, Sept. 25, the office will be closed in order to train staff.
The office will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28.
Veterans who experience non-medical emergencies should contact the North Carolina Division of Veterans Affairs office, located at 115 Market Street on the second floor in suite 205. Veterans can also call them at 919-560-6672.
If veterans are in need of immediate assistance with applying for VA Healthcare, they should contact the Durham VA Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, or call 919-286-0411.
Assistance with filing a compensation or pension claim is available to veterans by calling the United States Department of Veterans Affairs VA Call Center at 1-800-827-1000.
