$1.3 Million For Job Training in Maryland

Maryland groups will get $1.3 million in federal grants to put toward job training for veterans.

 

The award is part of a $36.7 million package from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program. The grants are intended to help homeless veterans develop the skills they need to find jobs. The money also supports career counseling, life skills, money management and housing placement for veterans.
